And yet we make it harder for people to get back in here after 9 days of overstaying their passport? My fiance overstayed her passport by 9 days. She can't back here to get away from a thug that has attacked her. I overstayed in Europe by 13 months and have been in and out of there will be my 5th time. Give me a break USA. See, they have it worse there then we do and yet you won't let a 48 yr old woman travel here?

Ohhh wait a minute....Now I've been told by so many that terrorism is because of the US doing wrong in the Mid East???? Now you're trying to tell me that the terrorist will continue to fight, destroy, and kill NO MATTER if we leave Iraq with our tails in between our legs asking for them to be nice??? Well, that's not what Obama is saying, he seems to think that when we immediately withdraw from Iraq that terrorism will end immediately! The terrorist just aren't playing FAIR!!! Wow, that report doesn't even really define terrorism unless one accepts that " terrorism is a tactic to a method for attaining political goals ". That would be overly broad and include normal nonviolent methods such as voting as terrorism.

And these guys are gonna protect us and they can not even define terrorism in a report.
page 9 : section 3.1 : Definitions; Terrorism:::: Sorry to be picky but..... how about an actual definition of terrorism!!!!!

Wow!! great article--I wish we would stop referring to them as terrorists--they truely are cowards --hiding their faces during the nite and being our friends durning the day--these zelots are really the most cowardly group this world has ever encountered. killing by sneak attacks; killing without discriminating; hiding like cowards; they are a sad disturbed group.
However more of our citizens are killed in Washington DC than in the Iraq war.

Do we then become the target of our war mongers, yes.
Even more extreme methods have been tried before, to control assailants (scorced earth) to no avail.

Wahabbism does indeed come from Saudi roots, long before Saudi Arabia came into existence; but it is only a small, but vocal and dangerous, portion of Islam, which does not condone such violence. As long as we remain depenent upon them for oil and strategic bases, we'll never be free of terrorism; but even if we were to sever ties completely, Wahabbists will only be satisfied when the entire world is Islam - that's their holy quest.

We have a hard enough time keeping church and state separated here in the US - no wonder they can move around the world at will, when we splutter and whine about the likes of Rev. Wright.

Joe- How did you fiance overstay her passport? A tourist VISA is good for 6 months. Surely, barring sudden freak airport emergencies, you could have planned to follow the rules. My wife is an immigrant, I've had to deal with this stuff plenty. The US immigration system is fair, though we should try to be more attractive to people with college education. Not that they are more valuable, but they give us a competitive advantage in engineering and science.

Canada and Europe seem friendlier now, but that's just because the shock of sudden wild immigration hasn't hit them yet. Already both are talking about adopting stricter standards.

And cut it out, losers. Obama is not a muslim, and even if he was, that doesn't make him a bad guy, unamerican, or a bad president.
