Long before I returned to Beijing this week, I knew winter had turned bitter in the Chinese capital when everyone's Facebook status entries started bemoaning the subzero temperatures.

Their feeling is that if US business might suffer if they put in controls then they'd better not put in controls. China doesn't even want to hear about such Bourgois considerations as Global warming as they dump millions of tons of CO2 into the air every day. It appears from this article that just maybe, they might be starting to "get it." Most governments and government agencies never seem to want to do anything about a problem until it looms so large that it might well be too late to do anything about it.

China faces frigid winter amid power shortages

Ive never heard of all gore, whos that?

China faces frigid winter amid power shortages

What has happened in China is caused by extreme weather, which is caused by global warming.
