There is certainly nothing else like it and it is an ancient structure. If other ancient structures like the Acropolis make the list then I don't see why the Great Wall should not be part of it. Restored or not, it is still a marvel to look at. I found it amazing as I climbed it (and yes...climb...most portions are etremely steep!) I found myself in tears because I realized that I was stepping on the same 'ground' as so many other people, ancient militaries, etc. It's an amazing feeling. And as a native Carioca (person from Rio de Janeiro) I am also even more ecstatic about our Cristo being a Wonder of the World.</description></item></channel></rss>
