playing with the religious emotinal side of things is well known to the people of Pakistan. Most mullah's do that regulary and have a dedicated following who in return provide with finacial and material rewards.
many of the educated and business or blue collar workers pakistani urbanites know this well and are too busy earning their living and at least a meal at resturant at the end of the day. i guess if Obama sounded like the mullah's to them then i can expect the kind of reponse as mentioned in this item.

Obviously from these comments made inside this diner, they still very much blame us Americans for the bloodshed. Though we obviously have a hand and ulterior reasons to remain in the Middle East, it is a complex issue.
