But it also wants to do that while insisting on others respecting its dignity, including its right to contnue uranium enrichment up to the point where a definitive choice has to be made whether it wants to keep the nuclear weapons option also open, or whether it wants to achieve the ultimate Islamic-philosophy-enjoined honor of wilfully eschewing nuclear weapon development and at the same time using the capability to encourage the existing nuclear powers to implement their disarmament obligations under the International Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty.

The whole international community should send messages of congratulations to Iran and encourage it to pursue the lofty goals that the country's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has set for his country, and pledge to do their part to disarm.

While the incoming new Government in Israel is reportedly contemplating whther it should release Marwan Barghouti in a prisoner exchange deal for Shalit, it could contemplate also doing so. Such a gesture would signal a possible peace-making breakthrough comparable to the release of Nelson Mandela by apartheid-era hardliner Frederick de Klerk in 1991, which ushered in a near-miraculous change of dispensation in South Africa without bloodshed.

A look inside Bushehr, Iran’s nuke facility

I am still amazed that no articles on the Bushehr Nuclear facility mention that construction of this plant was started by the West Germans in 1976. They had a contract to build two units and the price at that time was $10 billion. The Germans built a city of 10,000 with 700 pre-fab homes, fully furnished and complete with bidets, hundreds of apts. for German craft people and over 4,000 laborers from all around Iran. I know because I was there until leaving in Jan. 1979 with a plane load of Germans as all work had effectively stopped due to the revolution. In fact, I finally decided to go when the Shah announced he was taking a vacation - I knew the end was near.

A look inside Bushehr, Iran’s nuke facility

Fine, If Iran uses it's nuclear plant(s) to make weapons and one get used.. USA & Israel should fire half 70% of their nuclear weapon stock piles at Russia. What most to seem to forget is that extremists don't care about anything but the advancement of their religon. They don't care if we die, they kill in the name of religon. We are all just infidels because we are non believers of Islam. Death to them is being a matyr. Just like the Japanese Kamakazi pilot. Death to them is nothing but a way to move on to a better after life. Killing Americans, Israelites or any non believers justifies their cause as a religon and their cause as a human sacrafice. Do you think their terrorists with bombs strapped to them have any final thoughts about killing us before they detonate the bomb? Israel has no official map of its country. They tell me Israel is the only country which does not allow Nuclear inspectors in their country, why is it OK for Israel and not for Iran to have Nuclear weapons. England has new nuclear powered submarine which have eight silos for the containment of nuclear weapons, why it is OK for them and not for Iran, each one of these nuclear weapons on that submarine has a range of 5,200 Kilometers... Why.
Mandela said he was forty seven years old when he saw his first elephant in spite of being born in Africa. Someone talked and convinced that innocently charming and kind women, Queen Victoria, of the need to protect the African wild life and fauna with their required presence in protecting the environment, yet someone convinced that women to give all the African diamonds to one man, and that three month before England attacked South Africa.
Socrates said it very clearly that someday someone will come and explain to us something we fail to understand. When he said it was worst to harm someone because he harmed who had because you harm you first. When you read Socrates you finally discover why religious people seldom quote Socrates. He makes you realize that reverence is cause by fear, he talk of apprenticeship of virtues of justice in democracy, and also forewarns us clearly to be very cautious as to whom we allow tell stories to our children. Yet here in Canada we allow every evening a six o’clock the BBC come tell me stories of the world, with only one purpose in mind, and that is to slant the events of the day with a favorable slant for the benefit of their self interest. Why else would the British be willing to spend tax money to inform Canadians on the meaning of daily events? Gandhi once said that India will be free the day we lose the fear of the sword.
Gandhi, Mandela and Obama have something in common, their “ African wisdom”.
Recently when Obama was being interviewed by the Saudi TV, Obama clearly said that terrorist who would come to him with a clenched fist would be met with an open hand. CNN did not comment that statement either, because they too fail to grasp what that Palestinian fisherman, once taught us, to unconditionally love one another, when don't deserve it, then it’s simple, it’s because we need it. If love is a normal behavior amongst men, then why it is that love is mentioned so many times in the Ten Commandments.
These few words are written in kindness and without intent to offend. There is a word missing in our vocabulary, we it should created a missing word which when understood would prevent us from being offended.
That new word is: Enculturated- Scotoma.
A look inside Bushehr, Iran’s nuke facility

Iran has full right to develop peaceful nuclear technology. It is hardly objective. Here are the fact: The Bushehr nuclear power plant was started under the shah and was initially started to be built by the Germans. At that time the US encouraged Iran to develop nuclear power. 2. The Bushehr facility is a power plant that will produce 1,000 Megawatts of electricity badly needed in Iran where there are chronic electricity outages. 3. All spent fuel from the plant will be sent back to Russia under the agreement with that country subject to IAEA monitoring. Even the Bush admin was satisfied with that arrangement. so no threat to anyone. However, once the fuel in installed in the rods and Israel bombs the facility there could be serious problems of contamination not only in Iran but across the Gulf in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait(remember Chernobyl anyone?). So hopefully Israel will think twice before bombing the plant. Finally, why is it that nuclear production of electricity is good and allowed for Christian,Jewish,Hindu and Budhist, and Communist states but forbidden for Muslim states?

A look inside Bushehr, Iran’s nuke facility

first the world froze, then it flooded,i truly think the next time it will be burned and only god knows when, those those that dont realize this are fooling themselves. read the bible and pray for those that dont

A look inside Bushehr, Iran’s nuke facility

Don't we understand Iran's leaders are on a dangerous jihad ego-trip, which will begin with Israel being wiped out (it's so small, one bomb is enough for the whole country), and then Iran will turn against the whole Christian world? Let's see... 1) Iran was caught RED-HANDED purchasing bogus weapons schematics on the black market, and 2) the government has called for Israel to be 'wiped off the map', and 3) representatives from Iran sat down with European and U.S. representatives in 2005 saying that they'd 'stop supplying weapons to insurgents in Iraq if Iran was allowed to continue with its nuclear program.

Does that sound like a 'peaceful pursuit' to you?? It's because we protect Israel. Let's be clear. Jews migrated to Palestine and when they had enough nubers delcared themsleves a seprate state, kind of like what Europians did here in the US. Hello Indians we come in peace. Wow it more of than them, lets drive them off their land and claim it as ours. Don't get me wrong majority rules but how you treat natives shows the world the type of people you really are. Jewish people need to realize that they have to respect all life in that region not just Jewish life. I mean how would you react here in the US if another race or culutre was slowly taking over. I guess we would put up a fence to keep them out and clain they are here illegaly, but wait I bet the Indians think the same way.

A look inside Bushehr, Iran’s nuke facility

Anyone who thinks that allowing the Iranians to have a nuclear weapon is a good thing for the world is missing more than a few screws!

The Iranians have made it clear that they intend to destroy Israel and kill all the jews. That alone should set the tone. They have also made it clear their hatred for the Great Satan (Oh, thats us, the United States).

Is it fair for us to stop them? Who cares, we must stop them or be prepared for the carnage.
