I don't care who you are, Humans cannot petition "the lord" with prayer. These same religious zealots did the same thing in the face of 6,000,000 Jews being murdered. Please don't patronize me or anyone by stating some superstitious rantings about god or how much a human might be able to endure. Horrible things happen all the time, and if humans spent more time fighting the crooked politicians and businessmen instead of passive prayer to some non-existent creator(s),perhaps mankind would actually achieve something. Otherwise, and they will learn this the hardest way, it's every man/woman for his/her self.

The reason why this is happening is because the people broke the everlasting Covenant. It was already prophesied in Is 24. Even when the Living God Jehovah came in the flesh,he was ridiculed and scorned by the so called beleivers. Now, the Second Coming Christ has come, the end time is near and we must come to the Spirit and the Bride (Rev 22:17) to receive salvation and eternal life for this world will perish.

It is all too apparent that no one person or country can be held guiltless in contributing to our current world wide economic situation. With our mutually shared guilt comes a time for penitence and prayer that we all might seek forgiveness for our part and pray for the wisdom as to how we can reach a mutually agreeable outcome, an outcome that embraces all walks of life whether rich or poor. We all suffer in some way yet as creatures of hope, we all hope for a positive outcome. As a Christian, I would gladly pray shoulder to shoulder with anyone that embraces God as the final solution. Right now denominational, national or religious differences make no matter. It is our prayers that shall be heard.
