I have been watching anxiously and praying for Anqi's recovery! I definitely believe in Miracles now for sure!! I am so happy for this family!!! I cry each time I looked at the pictures of those young people who was lost due to greediness of their own people especially the contractors and the government officials that are to protect them. We have failled them misserably. These young people are the future of China and the world. I would hope through their shedded bloods China and their officials will Change for the better.

China will work its way thru this problem, as they do with other things, with precision and all-out effort, we should not be surprised by their smooth handling of this crisis.

During my time as a undergrad at William and Mary College (WIlliamsburg, VA). A white professor was disciplined,when he was asked by a student newspaper reporter (during Asian/Pacific Islander week) the following question, " Professor,what do you think, when you see a Asain Student, walk into your classroom?", his very honest answer was, "Well, here comes a A".

We can learn alot, from the Chinese, still not convinced?.

Think about how their economy is booming thru the roof, while we are faltering and really need a mircale to turn things around.

There has been so many western reporters covering the Chinese quick since it started and sending very detailed reports like this one all over major western media outlets around the world. If you search any major western media outlet's website, you'll find a lot of reports and photos regarding the quick. Yahoo has several hundreds of quick photos everyday! Many of them are very detailed.
At the same time, there is a huge anti-immigration riot going on in South Africa and a riot by India's lower caste that killed more than 40 people. And tornado ripping through heartland of America almost on daily basis. I don't remember any western media made much a big deal about those events. Much less to say any in depth coverage or follow-ups like this one. I wonder why.
If anyone thinks those events are less important, here is what I'd like to remind everyone. South Africa just ended its own long history of racial discrimination not long time ago. Now they are discriminating against others. The riot seems spreading fast and wide. India is praised by western countries as "world's largest democracy" and India is actively marketing itself as such on major American magazines. Yet India's midevil caste system is still live, well and still killing people to this day! I wonder why no any western reporters going down to India and ask those lower caste Indians if their human right and plight are violated.
Just curious about why western media paying so much attention to every move of China while ignore the despair in the rest of the world.
