Great, once the US pulls out, the next warlord that pillages and plunders his way into power can put the new museum to good use.....

Oh, and I don't want one more red cent of my tax dollars headed to Iraq, if they can afford to build, staff, and dedicate a museum in honor of the devices of horror used by a recently deposed dictator, then obviously, then can more than afford to pay for their own military, police force, hospitals, schools, and so on.  This is such a priority in a war torn country.  I can't imagine how they would survive without it........

I think it is a great idea to show to the world, the extent of this Tyrants Crimes. Many people are confused about why were in Iraq. At least on the issue of Saddam Hussein, we can rest that we did the right thing in stopping his inhumane treatment of others.

I am glad crimes of past dictators are being exposed, but next we need to expose the crimes of modern conquerors. We were supposed to be civilized compared to the times of Mongolian tribes lead by Chingis Khan, but "civilized" invadors slaughter more civilians today with their weapons, and their ill-informed foreign policies, than they have ever done in the history of humanity.

Where was Jimmy Carter when this was happening in Iraq? I'm sure he was wearing his blinders that only allowed him to complain about the US elections. An Iraqi man stated that to be tortured at Abu Graib prison while Saddam was in power was terrible. But when asked whether he would rather be a prisoner there during the American control, he said, "Well, if the my torture was either cutting off limbs or undressing in front of a woman, I would take the woman any day". So there ya go liberals. Waterboarding or amputation, naked in front of a woman or being on the rack? Hmmmm, my vote goes with the US.
