China - a nation of savers

Fears about a possible global recession have begun to trickle down to China, a nation of traditionally high savers. NBC News' Adrienne Mong reports from Beijing on why many Chinese households typically save as much as 30 percent of their annual income, compared to the near-zero percent saved by the average American family.

Save your money for the rainy days - is a virture. But Some American economists are blaming the chinese for saving too much - saying it's the reason the USA got into the mess today - hey guys - get a job!
if they not spending their money, and the american market cannot buy some all the china products either due to finance crisis problem.
it just make their (china) economic growth likely to decrease. although much of their export product is also send to many country in asia or africa, but the effect would likely to be same if we consider that finance market in all the world have begun to feel the same effect about the crisis.
