Pakistani terrorist revealed in new photo

It was only a few months ago that Maulana Fazlullah, a 33-year-old firebrand Muslim cleric, was galloping through the villages and over the hills of Pakistan’s scenic Swat Valley in the Northwest Frontier Province.

Astride a white horse, sporting his trademark black turban and a black beard which engulfed the entire lower half of his face, he seemed to some at first, more of a modern day Zorro, than a deadly terrorist. But that was then. Today, the Pakistan army is at war with Fazlullah, and he is in hiding.

Maulana Fazlullah, seen in a photo exclusively obtained by NBC News.
NBC News has received this photo; the first picture of Fazlullah that revealed a clear image of the face of one of Pakistan’s most wanted terrorists.

'Mullah Radio'
The young cleric, also known as "Mullah Radio" for his fiery anti-western, anti-Musharraf speeches broadcast from an illegal FM radio station, has developed a large following among the Pashtun tribes straddling the border areas between Pakistan and Afghanistan. (Pashtuns are an ethnic group comprising 15 percent of Pakistan’s population, mostly in the Northwest Frontier Province and in Pakistan’s southwest Balouchistan Province. They have an ancient culture, speak their own language and abide by their own tribal codes of honor and hospitality called Pashtunwali.)  Most of the Pashtuns on both sides of the border would like to split from the Pakistan federation and from Afghanistan to form their own independent state.

A large majority of the Pashtuns are unhappy with what they consider U.S. influence on their tribal lands and are unhappy with the governments of  both President Pervez Musharraf in Pakistan and President Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan for their support of U.S. policies in the region.

Fazlullah has had an eager audience. America was bombing them, he screamed from astride his white horse and on the airwaves of portable FM radio transponders. America was killing innocent women and children. The locals listened.

His message grew worse.

The entire valley, he said, would now be governed by Islamic laws known as Shariah. And what’s more, taking his cue from Osama bin Laden, he wanted to restore the caliphate, the Muslim dynasties that ruled the known world for centuries after the death of the Prophet Mohammed in 632 AD.

Fazlullah’s interpretation of Shariah was rigid. Most of the locals had no choice but to go along. The Swat Valley, known as the Switzerland of Asia for its breathtaking mountains, forests and lakes, was a haven for tourists. Pakistanis referred to the Valley as "just one step short of Paradise." But not any longer.

Local population terrorized
Fazlullah banned TV and music in the Swat Valley. He threatened barbers who shaved their customers’ beards and ruled that girls could not go to school. Women stayed home, too afraid to walk the streets.  He then ordered his men to destroy the ancient images of Buddah, carved into the mountains of the Swat Valley -- reminiscent of when the Taliban destroyed the Buddah statues in Bamiyan, Afghanistan. The historic images were un-Islamic, Fazlullah said.

The local population was terrorized. The Taliban from the tribal areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan joined forces with Fazlullah and all sorts of foreign and unsavoury characters moved into the Swat Valley.

The Swatis, as they are known, are not particularly politically motivated; they are more business-minded, interested in commerce and trade, and of course tourism. But still they are religious, and they were afraid. They listened intently to what Fazlullah had to say. Whoever would not go along with Fazlullah’s conditions was killed. What’s more, their entire family would be killed too. Fazlullah had enlisted hundreds of young militants to fight with him. The Swatis complied; they had no choice.

The government of President Pervez Musharraf did nothing for months. The situation in Swat deteriorated by the day.

Fazlullah became emboldened. The local and foreign media screamed that the Taliban had left the border areas and moved into Swat and now held sway in the so-called "settled areas" of Pakistan. The Taliban had indeed moved into Swat, and al-Qaeda came with them.

The pressure mounted on President Musharraf and finally last November he ordered two infantry brigades of the Pakistan Army to retake the Swat Valley from Fazlullah. As of this writing, the Pakistan army now controls about 90 percent of the Swat Valley.

Rumors of demise premature
But the army still has not been able to capture or kill Fazlullah. Rumors surfaced Wednesday that he had been killed. Fazlullah, upon hearing the reports, called some local media in Peshawar, capital of the Northwest Frontier Province, saying he was alive and leading his men in the battle for the Swat Valley.

"We will continue our fight until our goals are achieved," Fazlullah said from an undisclosed location, somewhere in Paradise.

I agree with Riz. All religions, be christianity, Islam, Buddhism preach peaceful coexistant. Pakistan has an appreciable Christian and Hindu population living in Harmony with the Muslims and most moderates want to see it that way. Poverty is the root cause of all evils and I believe that our problem in Pakistan is poverty and not illetracy when seen in the perspective of terrorism.
all you Americans...dude, it's easy to say things sitting here...and even easier to say things against Islam. Islam has become a scapegoat for bloody religioun-less people like you commenting on others without knowing the facts. or maybe you folks forgot KKK- Klu Kulx Klan...?

and Indians... it's useless to say anything about you guys. You are hopeless...!

so people, stop commenting on others...you have no clue about he real Islam, and what is going in Pakistan, therefore, it's better to keep your big mouths shut. Instead of the providing the correct support to pakistan- from US and UK, to get to the root this terrorism shit...these two countries are working very hard to make it worse. Ofcourse you'll deny it..again...that's the easiest thing to do, but for Heaven sake stop commenting on religion..you are known as the educated people...show some respect!
Mike Konkel--its comments like yours that ignite the muslims.  Wheteher extremist or moderate, noone will tolerate this language, so the hatred is a reaction to this.  I, and many others, dont condone what is going on, but it still does not give anyone any right to bring Prophet Mohammad into this equation.  Have you ever heard a muslim say anything against Jesus or even any of the Christian or Jewish religious figures.  No, because Muslims respect religion, its the governments and government officials they have a problem with. Some extremeists may have a incorrect understanding and implementation of Islamic laws--bred mainly by the lack of exposure and education.  But what about you, I am sure you have had some schooling being an American resident or citizen, or whatever you are--eduation is something that all Americans are piviledged to, unlike residents of other poor nations.  But what has all your education and exposure taught you--disrespect?? So how are you better than anyone else.  Maybe you dont have the means to attack anyone physically, so you are attacking them through your absolutely unacceptable language.  Very disappointing indeed.
It is hilarious to hear "wrong perception of the religion". Like, there is the right one, very funny.
No doubt America has an image problem.  We need to pull our military out of the countries that hate us and stop giving them financial aid.  Let them be and let them flounder and fall further behind the rest of the civilized world. If they want our military there for peace of mind, they should pay for it.  Ron Paul is right, closing military bases around the world would eliminate our national deficit and would reduce or eliminate federal income taxes.  We need to rethink our foriegn policy in America.
Too much religion in the middle east has caused far too many problems, conflicts and wars for centuries.  These people cannot get along: Their religion is the only thing they have and so they defend it fiercely and with extreme prejudice. I'm not saying that we are perfect but there exists here in the U.S. a code of ethics and behavior that says it is wrong to do certian things especially in the name of religion, no matter the name or the tenets of said religion.  If these countries had ever had a chance of a true and lasting peace it has been stolen by those who are tolerated and proteceted by their 1. families, 2. Governments, 3. religious institutions.  When all of these take a stand and say we have had enough and MEAN IT, then maybe things will change for the better for them but unless and until that day cames there will NEVER be a lasting peace in the region.
To Bill in Chicago:  It has been well documented that the Saudi people are behind al-Qaeda.  What could be done that would prevent any further involvement by the people of Saudi Arabia in al-Qaeda and other terrorist activities?  Nuke them out of existence? It sounds like something that many people would want, but there is a much simpler way.
The House of Saud needs to free up the $80 or so Billions of Dollars of oil money they squander and collect like dolls so the people of that country (read that young males) can work for a living and give their hands something more constructive to do than making bombs.  They have no future.  If you felt there was no future for you or yours, what would you or any of us do?
This wrong doing thing are everywhere, all governments are corrupted.

No need to blame anyone, except our own wrong doing.

That’s all.

I think everyones views in this comment section are twisted and the people are in need of some help. It's much easier to create dissmay in a post then to create the same dissmay in a face to face confrontation. people write hatefull words and sentences cause they feel guarded by the use of electronics terrorism against others through the online community. How would you feel if someone could grab your home address through your use of the internet and showed up at your door and did the unthinkable. I'd think twice about being cruel towards people you don't know there mental state.....it's bound to happen one day. Just cause a few muslims or extremist might share evil feelings doesn't mean every muslim shares the same ignorance.
Just like any religion every religion has it's break offs who work more towards building hate then building a solid peaceful relationship.
If these so-called religious nut jobs were to take more stock in the wisdom the prophets spoke and less stock in the ground that they walked on, I cannot help but think that part of the world would be a much more peacefull place.

They are trying to make this a religious war, but it really is a war about land and money.  This is thier version of a crusade.  That's all.  They just want money an power, and they don't care who gets killed in the process.

They pervert the young into falling in love with death so that the  young will make the sacrifice so the Mullah's can get the reward.  It is just sick.

Say what you want about nuclear weapons, in my opinion there is no weapon more catastrophic, more destructive and more evil, than a religious text being wielded by the hand of the self-righteous.
I say. let them rule how they want to rule and do what they want. They are the ones that have to face God for what they do. If WE really wanted to fight terrorism we would just go in and level that place and then right behind all of that start rebuilding. If WE were really fighting terrorism WE would find those people here that are from there and send them back there. They don't want us in their area of the world then they should not be in ours.
I'm not really for nuking them but they really need to set off some huge bombs. WE need to do a lot of PR work as well. WE need to show that we are not there to kill them all, just those that killed our people and tell them that if they would just turn them over things will be just fine. Show them what they are missing out on by those anciet laws. Tell them that GOD is not comanding these leader, but the want for power and control. Besides, their religion isn't that forgiving nor is it about tolerance. Either you are Muslim or you die. Pretty simple. How can anyone want to be part of a religion that kills woman because they were raped or children because they were in a movie that depicted a rape scene and that child is being threatened? No, these people are not in their right mind.
Proof positive - again and again for thousands of years. RELIGION KILLS!  And it's not just Muslim extremeists - for decades American 'evangelists' have travelled the world offering to save everyone. They usually show up with three things - food, a generator or medicine and BIBLES.  After doling out the food and showing people how to use the generator the religious INDOCTRINATION begins.  The problem lies in the fact that while a "Baptist Mission" works with one village, a "Mormon Mission" works with another. Eventually, the INDOCTRINATION takes hold, because the locals were only exposed to one religion and they are told that everything and other religions are wrong.  Then one day - deep in a jungle, or out on a prarie, two opposing villagers meet and a skirmish begins, all in the name of GOD/ALLAH/(insert your diety here).  Muslims have done this globally too, not just christians and mormons.  Here's the lesson - STOP EXPORTING YOUR RELIGION!!!
We'll all live a lot longer and happier. BTW: This exporting religion is a TAX-FREE endeavor for American churches.  US Taxpayers financially support the export of religion, and this needs to be stopped.
we should sit down with these kind of people and talk to them, and find out what they want.I think we can not control their feelings by force. At this point we need real sufis who can teach and deal with them with love and peace ( the real islamic way of dealings with disturb and confused muslims)
It is time for the US to get out of Iraq, Afghanistan and - STAY OUT of Pakistan. Let the ragheads settle their own differences. Our military forces and all that money should be used in places like New Orleans!
"when fundamentalist christians blow up abortion clinics, do all christians get labeled terrorists?"

- Pakistani victim

So when was the last time an abortion clinic was blown up (if ever), and how many people have been killed?  Barely a day passes without some fanatic Muslim blowing themselves up somewhere on the planet.  Pakistan, Iraq, US, Spain, UK, Indonesia, Morocco, Israel - all have seen Muslim attacks, including countless more countries.  And the best rebuttal you can come up with is some supposed abortion clinic?  Get a clue!  A rapidly increasing number of people worldwide see Muslim extremists as a cancer, and the ignorance of presumably moderate Muslims like you is only increasing the problem.
The answer to why the government moved so late against the militants is because this province was ruled by religio-political parties who are either in denial of terrorism, or are sympathetic to the Taliban. When the provincial govt was dissolved then the operation was legally possible.

The Pakistani media deserves no credit here as it has always accused the army of "killing its own people for American dollars", when it is in fact conducting anti-terrorist operations
There are reasons none of these extremist leaders ever show themselves, they enlist young innocent children to do there missdeeds who have no sense of true right and wrong. They brain wash them into false beliefs of happiness and rewards that we all know don't exsist.
There told to kill westerners and other nationalities or have there families slaughtered. No God sanctions the slaughter of innocent people cause evil deeds won't be done.
Like Bin Laden and many others, they hide behind there followers watching the killing of innocent people.
Even if ever faction of extremist islam pulled together as one, if they did complete there mission then they'd be fightning amongst each other in who reigns supreme and holds rights in religious belief and they'd murder themselves.
So all the allying of extremist still establishes nothing cause it will be a fight till the end of who is right and who is wrong.

Cowards hide behind masks and guns, Cowards hide behind young innocence fighting a cause that will never prevail in any circumstance. Regardless of who is puppeteering the whole deal.
Like in America until the people come to terms and say enough is enough the endless bloodshed of innocence will continue and stories of hatred will sell newspapers and people will moan and groan how unfair everything is. Stand up for yourself and tell the cowards who push that your shoving back and actually mean it for once in your life.

Well this Blog supposed to be for discussion not for blaming peoples, religion, country or any other related ethnicity. It is peoples point of view and soltuions to the problems. So please peoples think about what are you writting. It may offend someone outh there.. So please stay away from amking sunch comments. Thank you all
Those who criticize Islam or Quran or Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), don't know that it's Islam that taught Modern Technology/Civilization/Equal Human Rights to humanity, it's Quran that teaches the Universes beyond our reach and to think and do research, it's Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who gave humanity a role model to follow by practicing tolerance and patience and by demonstrating courage to take on mountainous tasks. "For Believers there are hints in it".
I have a question for all of you who say islam is a violent religion. If the Chinese army invaded America to impose communist rule on the people, how many of you would fight to rid this menace from your country and to preserve your sovereignty? For those of you who would fight, you would be branded as a "terrorist" for your resistance to the occupation and subjugation of your nation. The rest of you are cowards. Muslim "terrorist" are people with there principles intact. All occupation forces should be met with stiff resistance from the local population. This is even a protocol of the Geneva Convention (western law). But we live in an age where the english language is being misused to serve the agenda of the corrupted ruling elites and is being regurgetated by the mindless, sleep walkers amounst the ruled. It's time the masses wake up and realize that we are all in crosshairs of the ruling class, muslims and non muslims alike. Many of you on this forum should seek understanding (if you have any)of these conflicts before making hate filled comments against people and their religions.

Peace to all!
It is very interesting analysis, but I am failed to understand why no one could acknowledge the fact that most of the policies of so called thirdworld poor nations are being dictated by so called first world nations. And thus most of these policies are good for the first world instead of common people of those concerned nations.

Unfortunately geographically Pakistan and Afganistan are located in such proximities that they have significant importance to the causes of Western world, especially the Capitalist block, which was scared of communists untl late 80s. Like any where when you have wage a gurrila war, you will have to go to people with extreme courage, bravery and trustworthyness, and unfortunately (for pathans), these characteristics are common among Pathans of Pakistan and Afganistan and even more common in tribal people of these two counrties.

Therefore, when CIA needed a plateform and people to wage such a war against communist Russia, they have no better option than Pakistan and Pushtuns, who could easily be moved into Afganistan to fight against Russian along side their pushtun brothers from Afganistan. So especially CIA (and for the sack of Pakistan military, ISI-Pakistan intelligence agency) trained these people to fight against russians their war, and once they defeated Russians; these uneducated poor people were left at God mercy.

During Russian war, they were motivated to fight in the name of Islam and now same Islam is being victimized to declare them as terrorists. I am sure no mother (be it a human being or an animal) will want their kids to die, but when you pushed someone to the point where they have only two options: either they have to die by your bombs or bullet or else they could kill you along with them. Then you should decide .....

Wish if we could use all the money on food, health and education of the people instead of using all this money on bombs to kill these innocent people.
Money is the root of all evil...  Consider that this region is the world's largest producer of poppy.  Heroin is more addictive than crack and the deal with Coloumbia fell apart years ago.  These 'extremists' shamefully invoke jihad to justify a means of recpturing fields they once prospered from; but were muscled out of, by competition with enough political clout to hire the baadest fighting machine in the history of the world.
How much of this hatred is created by News people?  Who created the headline?  All religions have their extremists.  What we need to ask is what can we do as individuals to stop this?  Who was it who said,"I have never seen a bad peace or a good war?"

Peace begins with each of us and we must be sure we don't repeat the things we read without checking them out with all sources.  My sympathies lie with those who have no way of speaking out:  women, children.  They are the big losers right now.
I would like to encourage anyone who is interested in the recent events in Pakistan to check out Three Cups of Tea, by G. Mortenson and D. O. Relin.  If you have time to voice your opinion in a forum, please also make the time to educate yourself from as many sources as possible (even those with whom you may disagree).
Pakistan lost their eastern portion of the land (Bangladesh) when the people lost the trust due to years of miss ruling by generals from Islamabad. Now the same issue is happening in the Northwest Frontier Province and in Pakistan’s southwest Balouchistan Province of country. Even after 60 years independence the Pakistan govt. never tried to integrate the tribes in to the main society. There was no proper government for last 60 years in those regions who can implement the law of land, the common people were looking up to the tribal leaders to solve their every day issues.

Unless Pakistan acts quick there is going to be one more new county in the region.
It is my belief that all religion is bad.  Spiritualism is good but when organized into a religon it turns into a monster that can only be tamed by death.
Hey I have a question??? If most of these Radical muslim terrorists are in one small area of Pakistan..Why not send troops from Pakistan and American troops from Afganastan herd them together (like cattle) and NUKE them all..Let their so called mohammad sort out the good from the bad.. Simple enough .. If them are'nt killed now what happens when they get a nuke?  You guessed it.. US or them? Time to quit playing games with these Radical so called religious fruit cakes and stick the Quaran and right up their wazoos..
Shoaib, what excuse would all you US and Bush haters use if the US backed out and let all the Islamic extremeist kill each other.  Islamist attacked our country on 9/11/2001 so live with the consequences.  Plus, Wozniak in Tampa, Fl; how many Orthodox Jews and right wing burn-in-hell Southern Baptist have flown planes into the twin towers or beheaded people on videos?  Bless your heart, you are just a pitiful, uneducated poor excuse for a human.  And how can so many of you blame the US, CIA, etc. for the problems of the world.  Many would starve to death if the US isolated itself - because unlike so many, we could actually take care of ourselves if we didn't give so much to everyone else.  Get a new story and blame someone else for a change.   This one is getting boring.
Why do they label World best religion with terror?  Why dont they label Timothy Mcviegh and his partners in Oklahama Bombing as Christian terror. These ignorant bigots don't know that terror is the work of an ignorant person.  It has nothing to do with religion or a country.
You can be sure that the US military and CIA have every square inch of this valley under surveilance via spysat/drone every minute of every day.  When the time comes I wouldn't want to be within 500 miles of there......

I agree with Imran; great analysis.
To those comparing extremist acts from Christians to those of muslims: Christ denounced terrorism - healing the ear of one of his captors.  Islam preaches terrorism, lying to achieve your objective against others, and one world government, with all others either enemies or slaves.  There is a difference between those who claim a religion but act opposite its rules, and those who are following the religion to the letter.  Just read the muslim book, you will be awakened and scared.
If you are even fairly knowlegable of the Bible, everthing that is happening is perfectly predictable. As far as "Southern Baptist extremist" firebombing abortion clinics....yes, there is a small fringe. The only difference is that it may make the news 1 time a year, not daily. They cant hold a candle to the Islamic "horror merchants" that decapitate and publish....we do send our children to school for math and science, not hate indoctrination. i keep hearing the phrase "religion was hijacked"....un-hijack it! Stand up and condemn...silence... I do agree that the Pakistani people (majority) are victims and most are outstanding..i had a Pak statistics teacher and he was one of the best instructors i ever had. His demeanor, character and soul were all in tact. this is how i see the pakistanis.
Only history will be the judge of what the issues were and whose ideology of peace, religion, and politics were the better and more just way to have handled the entire Middle East crises - everyone stop pointing fingers; it only incites more self righteousness.
Thou shall not kill...yeah... unless your America.... then you can kill whomever you choose. Even if they had no WMDs or had anything to do with 9/11. Half a million dead Iraqis and 2 million displaced is plenty of fuel to flame the never-ending "Global War on Terror". The Neo-cons and their ilk don't want this to ever end... they and their cronies are making a fortune through Defense Contracting and Private contracting. Follow the money folks... there are only a few that are really getting anything beneficial from these wars... it certainly isn't Iraqis nor the average american. The longer this goes on the longer they can justify being there making billions for those within the complex.
All I can say is vote for Ron Paul, President 2008
When terrorists kill 3000 people in a single attack in the name of Christ or reach anywhere near the level of violence that al-Qaeda and the Taliban have reached, then Muslims can use the "they do it too" line. Until then, Islam has shown itself to be a religion of nothing but violence.
This goes somewhat for the article and more so on the comments by others.
Who are terrorists? Someone misled to believe that killing is the only way to get back at someone and get what you want.
Who is a Pakistani or an American or an Indian? Someone who is a citizen of that nation.
So a terroist hailing from a nation would be called as coming from that nation. Having said that, separating the human community by religion, racism, etc. even after so much advancement is merely out egocentrism. People who follow a leader do not understand this or do not want to believe that this is true or are always brainwashed by the leader or afraid to raise their voice of concern. If the leader is true then why doesn't he sacrifice his own family for suicide bombers?
If I do not like someone, I do not even go in his/her path. Similarly if Taliban or Al Qaida or whoever are anit-western or anti-Pakistan should not don't cross paths. Killing does not solve anything, the hatred still exists. The extremists groups like this must be live in a secluded place like "MARS" or "PLUTO" or kill themselves since they don't like to co-exist with other "NORMAL" human beings.
Talk to me about any religion in this world, which religion preaches that killing is good? In fact, none of the religions support killing another living being let alone killing humans.
How many innocent Muslims have to die before the Muslim moderate majority decides they have had enough and wipe these terrorists out.No western government or military can accomplish this goal. It must be the Muslims themselves. Oil is the root of all these problems. The middle east has it and the rest of the world has to have it, and is willing to go war to control it.
Yes there certainly is a scourage of Southern Baptist Terrorism around the globe, certainly on Par with these Muslim Extremist, Give me a break.... Why is it that most if not ALL of these groups are Muslim?
Contrary to current political correctness, "Fundamentalism" is not the problem.  Fundamentalism is not the same thing as militancy.  Fundamentalism means you believe/practice the fundamental tennants of the faith.  Before you blindly assume moral equivalency of all religious faiths as some of these commenters have, you need to actually compare the core 'fundamental' teachings of that faith.  The problem with Islam is that it is a militant faith.  Mohammed was a warrior prophet who cursed and killed his enemies.  The Quran teaches that this is the will of God (too many references to even begin).  Jesus taught to love your enemies. Paul taught that if the message of Christ is rejected, to dust off your sandals and move on to the next town.  Irregardless of what people do in the name of their religion, when you look at the teachings of Islam vs. other world religions, it is the only one where its god mandates killing the infidels.  Islam itself is the core of the problem.
Pakistan? who is scared of a nuclear country? When our president wants us to invade Iran, cause they MIGHT, MAYBE, COULD, have A [1] nuke in 10-15 years? They are the threat, not a nuclear Pakastain, or its people, they are Pro-American? Invade Iran as the president wants, but better make it quick before the oil is gone! Pakistan has none, so no bother there, they are harmless??? Iran is a huge threat cause they think they might in 10-15 years! No one in the   Middle-east can hit American soil,[Isreal is not American siol] and the only Americans they can hit, are the ones Bush put in harms way, in the wrong country, for oil, and oil only! Well maybe BILLIONS of fraud to!
What would America look and compete like if we invested 2 BILLION A DAY for 7 YEARS into our own country?? To retro-fit and fix-ONCE AGAIN, THE GREATEST COUNRTY IN THE WORLD!! LEADING BY EXAMPLE NOT BY THREAT. WOW THE WAY IT SHOULD BE TODAY! Keep our noses where it belongs! Border to border coast to coast ONLY!!!
To Ken Wiley: Islam is indeed the religion of peace. Principles like Tolerance, Brotherhood and Fraternity are what it is stood upon. The terroists that you see and hear about, calling themselves or assumed to be muslims (because they have a beard) in actual fact dont belong to any religion because i can say with confidence that no religion in the world stand for or support killing of innocent people. So plz instead of blaming a religion or its followers for all evil happening around the world try first to learn something about it and always keep in mind that a terrorist has no religion.
Given what I know about the history of the US and UK in that region,we've created this beast. If bombs were falling indiscriminately on lands near my home and a guy was screaming out against the country dropping them, I think I'd listen to him. Musharraf has been creating terror in the countryside - Bush&Co conned/forced their plan on Pakistan(Bush couldn't even find these countries on the map until he was 0ver 40). Solution will not come from the same mindset that created the problem. Our governments must allow the knowledgable, intelligent, compassionate, thinkers in this world to work together for the solution. Although, I fear it will continue to get worse for the Pakistanis before it gets better, I pray every day for peace.
Why is it that Christians and Jesus get brought into these arguments,It is not Christians doing the attacking. It is not the Holy Bible telling us to hate and kill.Quite the contrary, our Bible tells us to turn away from hate, that our lord IS LOVE.No one who truly knows the message of the gospel would make such foolish statements as I have read continually on these message boards. If there is one thing anyone can be sure of it is that no christian will kill you for curseing the name of Christ,we will pray for you but we dont attack. w e know the ending of our story here and hope all you who are lost will see the truth some day also.We also know the attacks will continue so I am not totally surprised.Keep your eye to the sky and get on your knees while you still can.God bless.
I see no real diference between christian extreamist or islamic ones. It seemes to me that the crusades and the islamic conquests are still in full swing. All religion has a side that will attempt to inslave and controll.
Objective truth is the enemy of all religions.
the facts speak for themselves

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/

Has anyone considered involvement by MI-5?  Ulterior motives are EXACTLY what they seem NOT to be.
I wonder when people will stop trying to convince everyone that the Muslim religion is one of peace.  When will they admit that they are all either current murderers and terrorists or sleeper cells?  I'm convinced that they will all burn in hell with their so called loving prophet muhammed.  If it's such a small minority of the Muslim religion and such a violation of it's rules, where are the millions upon millions of "good Muslims" that should stand up and say, "enough is enough" and put an end to it?
This is a political problem. Keep religion out of it. These murderers do not have a religion. They kill both Muslims and non Muslims. Mostly Muslims in Pakistan. It is sad that instead of showing sympathy for Pak who is fighting the war for the west is criticised by the west.
This is getting old, it is the same story time after time. And not one single goverment has learned how to deal with "these" people!!! You would think by now there would be at least goverment that could be proactive and act promptly and swiftly. Good luck to us all!
